Questions
Which size should I buy?
If you are new to hatching, start small: the 180 egg machine is our recommended starter. Choose a bigger machine once you know your weekly hatch numbers.
How many quail eggs fit?
Roughly 2.5 times the chicken egg capacity, using quail trays.
Do the machines hatch as well as incubate?
Yes. They are combined setters and hatchers. On most machines we supply hatching baskets for every tray, so you don’t need to move eggs at hatching time.
What about load-shedding?
The industrial machines are insulated and can stay without power for up to about 5 hours.
Do you keep spare parts?
Yes. Controllers, sensors, fans, motors, trays and baskets are in stock in Midrand.

Hobby or industrial?
Plastic hobby incubators (15 to 256 eggs) are fine for a few hatches at home, but they have a short life and lose heat fast without power.
If you are hatching for a business, buy an industrial machine.
